Amboy Direct has two signup bonuses. One is a $50 bonus for opening their eSavings account. The other is a bonus 3-month $4.25% rate for opening their Money Market Maximizer account. They've been offering these for awhile, and have kept on extending them. The current offer is good until October 30th.
Here are the details for the $50 bonus and the eSavings account:
And here are the details for the 4.25% bonus rate and the Money Market Maximizer account:
The only problem with these deals is that the bank doesn't offer the best interest rates. For their eSavings account, balances over $3,000 earn 3.30% APY; balances under $3,000 earn 1.00% APY; balances under $300 earn no interest. For their Money Market Maximizer account, balances over $30,000 earn 3.45% APY; balances under $30,000 earn 1.00% APY; balances under $5,000 earn no interest.
Even though the interest rates are not the highest, both accounts don't have any balance minimums or fees. Also, you can link these to your external checking account for easy transferring of money. So you could easily transfer the money out to other higher interest accounts after you've received the bonuses.
