Checking Account Bonuses for Chicagoland

For those in the Chicago area, there are some good deals for opening a checking account with direct deposit. This is an updated version of this September post. GuarantyBank's deal ended in September. LaSalle Bank and Associated Bank deals are new.
Note, both Edens Bank and North Community Bank have some decent CD specials and money market rates. The 12-month CD pays 4.25% APY and their money market account pays 3.54% APY. LaSalle Bank also has a decent CD special: 13-month 4.30% APY CD.
