$50 Checking Account Bonus at a Missouri Bank

The First National Bank of St. Louis is offering a $50 gift card for opening a free checking account. The minimum to open an account is $50, but there is no minimum balance required to receive the incentive. The offer expires 3/31/2006. This promotion is not listed at the bank's website. The nice thing about this checking account deal is that there's no direct deposit or bill pay requirement. The Free Checking Account has no minimum balance requirements and no monthly fees. However, if you get the debit card, you have to make at least 6 transactions a month to avoid a $2 per month fee.
