4.75% Savings Account at a California Bank

Security Pacific Bank has a new savings account they call the "Smarter Savings Account" which pays 4.75% APY with a minimum deposit of $1K. This new savings account is not listed at the bank's website. It was advertised in today's LA Times. A copy of the ad is available here.

The bank has branches in Los Angeles, Ontario and Seal Beach, California.
