Heritage Family Credit Union is offering a 6.00% APY 7-month certificate. Credit for finding this deal goes to eMoneyCentral, and according to eMoneyCentral, the special rate requires the member to have either a checking account, direct deposit, or a loan at the credit union.
The credit union's field of membership includes residents of the following Vermont counties: Rutland, Addison, Bennington, Windsor or Windham. Also included are residents in Hooksett, New Hampshire.
The credit union is NCUA insured with $119 million in assets and 20,500 members.
