New Rates: 5.55% 6-Month CD at VirtualBank, 5.02% Money Market Account at Corus Bank

VirtualBank made a big bump to the rate of its 6-month CD today. The rate increased from 5.30% to 5.55% APY. The rates on most of the other terms remained the same except for the 5-year term which increased from 5.50% to 5.60% APY. The yield on VirtualBank's eMoney Market account remains at 4.60% APY. The last CD rate changed at VirtualBank occurred on June 6th. Below is the full list of the new and old CD yields:

New Corus Bank Rates
Corus Bank also had a significant increase on its 6-month CD rate. The rate increased from 5.37% to 5.48% APY. Unlike VirtualBank, the 1-year CD still has the highest rate. It went up from 5.48% to 5.55% APY. The rate on Corus Bank's money market account also increased from 4.94% to 5.02% APY, breaking 5% for the first time.
