$50 Sign-Up Bonus for Bank of America Savings Account

Bank of America is offering a $50 Gift Check for opening a new Regular Savings account online. Here's the promotional page. The offer code is PRJ3. You must fund the account with $100 to be eligible. The offer expires 12/31/2006. Credit for finding this deal goes to this FW thread.
The Regular Savings Account has no monthly maintenance fees with a balance of at least $300 or automatic transfers from checking of $25 or more. Otherwise the monthly fee is $5.
This wouldn't be a place for any substantial amount of money since the interest rate is only 0.50%. If you do sign up for this savings account and you use a debit card frequently, you might also want to consider Bank of America's Keep the Change program.

The $200 bonus for a business and personal checking acocunt is still active until July 15th. See my June post for more details.

BOA pays ultra-low rates. Unless they're substantially increased, these little baits will do little to attract new money.

Anyone have a screenshot of the terms? I signed up for this promotion back in erly December and still not $50 credit. Bit I don't remember how long it was supposed to take, nor whom to contact about this. Thanks.

Sam, I would recommend sending a message through their online messaging system (available when you log in). I've participated in two past promotions at BofA, and neither time did the bonus get credited until I sent them a message. After I sent the message, the bonuses were credited within a week. Also, in both cases I didn't have a copy of the website, I just referenced the details of the bonus. Hopefully, that will be adequate this time. If you don't have an online account, I would then recommend calling. I hope this helps.
