Corus Bank CD and Money Market Rates Continue to Rise

Jul 5, 2006 - 8:00 AM by Ken Tumin

Corus Bank raised rates on both of its CDs and its money market account today. The money market account rate increased from 5.02% to 5.07% APY. The 6-month and 12-month CD rates increased to 5.56% and 5.66% APY (up from 5.48% and 5.55%). These rate increases were similar to last week's increases. Note, as of this morning, Corus Bank's rate page is not yet showing these new rates. These rates are listed at Bankrate.com. I figured the holiday likely delayed the publishing of the typical Tuesday rate update at Corus.
