Checking Account iPod nano Bonus at a Tennessee Bank (Jefferson Federal)

Aug 2, 2006 - 8:24 AM by Ken Tumin

Jefferson Federal Bank is offering a free iPod nano or a digital camera for opening a new personal or business checking account with a minimum of $2,500 and selecting two additional services such as Visa debit card, online banking, online bill pay, direct deposit, safe deposit box, savings account or CD. Customer must maintain the account in good standing for a minimum of 6 months. Offer is good through August 31, 2006 at the Farragut office. This special is not listed at the bank's website. It was advertised in today's Knoxville News Sentinel. The ad is available online here.

The bank's website has some dead links so I wasn't able to get more details regarding the checking accounts. It does have a free checking account. It doesn't seem that you have to maintain the $2,500 balance. The debit card and online banking seem to be easy services to qualify for this bonus. The bank was also advertising a 5.40% APY 9-month CD last Sunday (see ad).

Note, this offer is only good at the bank's new Farragut branch. Farragut is located about 15 miles west-southwest of Knoxville, Tennessee.

Other iPod nano Promotions

The last iPod nano promotion that I had reported on was at KeyBank. This one is still good and is available to people in many states which have a KeyBank branch.
