Rivermark Credit Union is offering a 5.75% APY on a 7-month CD. The minimum opening balance is $500. It requires 50% new money (see site for new money alternatives).
The field of membership is primarily limited to those who live or work in the following 6 counties of Oregon: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, Polk, Yamhill and Marion. Branches are located in Beaverton, Clackamas, Gresham, Newberg and Portland.
The credit union is NCUA insured. It has $358 million in assets and 44,295 members.

The top advertised national 6-month certificate of deposit rates is 5.60% APY which is being offered by AmTrustDirect and E-LOAN. World Savings has an unadvertised, branch-only 7-month CD paying 6.01% (see post).
