5.65% 7-Month CD at a California Bank (First Private)

First Private Bank & Trust is advertising a 5.65% APY 7-month certificate of deposit. The minimum is $10,000, and it requires money new to the bank. This special is not listed at the bank's website. It is being advertised in today's Ventura County Star paper. The ad is available online here. Offer expires 11/30/06, and you must bring the ad with you to a branch.

Branches are located in Burbank, Encino, Granada Hills, Santa Monica and Westlake Village.

The bank has been FDIC insured since 1983.

this bank does not offer any out of state funds....

Burbank & Granada Hills branchs said over phone don't need to bring add in.
Burbank had 1/2 page sheets with this special in branch.

Glad to read the bank is making it easy to open this CD (at least for those in CA).
