Bank of Anderson is offering a special 5.49% APY 9-month certificate of deposit. The minimum deposit is $1,000. There's also a 5.36% 13-month CD special.
Branches are located in Anderson, South Carolina. According to the rates page, the listed rates applies only to Anderson residents with lower rates available to non-Anderson residents.
The bank has been FDIC insured since 1998 (Certificate # 34830).

I talked to the Bank of Anderson today and, despite still being listed on the webpage, the 9-month 5.49% CD is dead. I forgot the exact rate they are presently offering, but it is somewhere in the 5.00% range
