5.50% 13-Month CD at a Michigan CU (Priority Community)

Priority Community Credit Union is offering a special 5.50% APY 13 month certificate of deposit. The minimum deposit is $1,000, and it requires funds not on deposit with PCCU within the last 60 days. The CD is not available for IRA's.

This is a similar special that this credit union was offering last October, but the rate was 5.75%.

The field of membership includes those who live, work or worship in Detroit, Westland, Southfield or Lathrup Village, Michigan. Also several select groups including those over 54 and live in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, or Monroe county are eligible. See site for details.

The credit union is federally insured by the NCUA (Charter # 60068). It has $71.4 million in assets and 11,152 members.
