Century Bank is again offering a special 5.50% APY 7-month certificate of deposit. The minimum deposit is $1,000, and a new or existing checking account is required. The offer is valid through May 30, 2007. This special isn't listed at the bank's website. It was advertised in yesterday's Dallas Morning News. The ad is available online here.

The bank has been FDIC insured since 1934 (Certificate # 3361).
