$50/$100 Checking Account Promotion at SunTrust

SunTrust is offering a $50 SunTrust Visa Gift Card when you open a new personal or business checking account. You also have the choice to donate $100 to the charity of your choice instead of receiving the $50 Gift Card. The checking account must be opened by October 12, 2007, and you must accept their Visa Card and make a purchase with it by November 15, 2007.

SunTrust does have a Free Checking Account with no minimum balance requirements or monthly fees. Readers have reported a hard credit pull via Equifax (which can temporarily ding your credit score).
