5.88% 7-Month / 5.88% 13-Month CD at Credit Union of Alabama

The Credit Union of Alabama FCU has increased the rate of its certificate special since my last report. The rates table now shows a yield 5.88% APY for both the 7 and 13 month term (up from 5.61% when I reported on this in May).

Field of membership includes those who live, work, worship, or attend school in Tuscaloosa or Pickens County. Membership requires a minimum $25 deposit into a regular share savings account.

The main branch is located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The credit union is federally insured by the NCUA (Charter # 7476). It has $380.8 million in assets and 41,888 members.
