Safe 1 Credit Union is offering a promotional 6.00% APY 11-month fixed rate certificate. The minimum deposit is $10,000.

Membership is open to anyone living or working in Kern or Tulare Counties, California. Please refer to the credit union's membership page for more details. Membership requires a minimum deposit of $50 into the share savings account.

Branches are located in Bakersfield, Delano, Porterville and Tehachapi, CA. The credit union is federally insured by the NCUA (Charter # 61598). It has $306.1 million in assets and 40,001 members.
