6.00% 6-Month CD at a Pennsylvania CU (Hershey)

Hershey Federal Credit Union has a special 6-month certificate with a yield of 6.00% APY. The minimum deposit is $1,000, and the maximum deposit is $25,000. New money is required. There's also a special 16-month CD with a yield of 5.15% APY and a $500 minimum. These specials don't seem to be listed on the credit union's website. A reader emailed me about these specials, and I called for additional info.
Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Dauphin or Lebanon Counties, PA. You can also be eligible via Select Employee Groups (which of course includes the Hershey Company) and via family members. Please see their membership page for the full details. A minimum $25 deposit into the regular share savings account is required for membership.
Branches are located in Hershey and Cleona, PA which are just east of Harrisburg. The credit union is federally insured by the NCUA (Charter # 6095). It has $38.0 million in assets and 6,281 members.

Is this bank FDIC Insured.. I don't see the logo on their web page.

It's federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). You can verify this at this link.

They also have a new branch in Hummelstown, on route 39. It just opened up last week.
