6.00% 60-Month / 5.75% 13-Month CD at a California CU (Central State)

Central State Credit Union has a 13 month special certificate with a yield of 5.75% APY. The minimum deposit is $1,000. The special is for current checking account holders or new checking accounts with Direct Deposit. There's also a 60 month certificate with a yield of 6.00% APY and a $10,000 minimum deposit. This one is not a special and doesn't have the checking account. Please see the rate table for more details.
Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, or worships in San Joaquin or Calaveras County, CA. Please refer to their membership page for more details. Membership requires a $5 membership fee and a minimum deposit of $5 in the savings account.
Branches are located in the California cities of Stockton, Lodi, San Andreas and Angels Camp. The credit union is federally insured by the NCUA (Charter # 60363). It has $145.7 million in assets and 22,908 members.

Why are all the 6% 60 month cd's in every state but Maryland? Are there any that allow marylanders?

I did some searching and found a 60-month CD close to 6% (5.92% APY) at Prince George's Community FCU (see post). Unfortunately, not everyone in Maryland may qualify.
