$100 Checking Account Bonus at a NJ/PA/DE Bank (The Bank/Fulton)

The Bank is offering a $100 checking account bonus. The first $50 is given when you open your account. The second $50 is given when you activate direct deposit. The Bank has a free checking account with no minimum balance requirements or monthly service fees. Offer expires 12/31/07. This special doesn't seem to be listed at the bank's website. It was advertised in a New Jersey newspaper. The ad is available online at this link.

According to the customer service rep, accounts can only be opened for those in New Jersey. You can apply online or by phone for the checking account, but you have to visit a branch to sign the signature card. The CSR didn't know if there's a hard credit pull.

The Bank is part of Fulton Financial Corporation which also has Fulton Bank in Pennsylvania and Delaware National Bank in Delaware. This same checking account promotion is listed at both of these banks' websites and seem to have the same terms as The Bank. I haven't contacted these banks to see if these also require a branch visit.
