Bank of America's Online 4-Month CD - Yield as High as 5.25% APY

5.25% APY at IL
5.15% APY at FL, NY, PA, NJ
5.10% APY at TX, CA, CO, IN, OH, VA, NC, GA, WI,
MI, MD, KS, KY, TN, MN, NE
5.05% APY at MO
5.00% APY at IA
4.95% APY at WA, AZ, MA, NV, OK
I last posted on this CD in September when rates were as high as 5.45% APY. Even though the rates have fallen, this CD has become more attractive as rates of other accounts have had larger drops. For example, Bank of America's special Money Market Savings Account had rates over 5.70% APY in September (see post). The top rate for this account now is only 4.55% APY.
Note, there's still an active Bank of America $100 checking account promotion.

These are ONLINE only rates. You have to fund from an existing BOA relationship.

Not anymore, BofA just dropped the rates to 4.85% for the majority of the states (didn't check the rest but the 5.10% tier became 4.85%) as of today.
