5.25% 9-Month CD at a Vermont/New Hampshire CU (Heritage Family).

Heritage Family Credit Union is offering a 5.25% APY 9-month certificate. The minimum deposit is $1,000. My last report on this credit union was in March when they were offering a 6% 51-month CD.

Field of membership includes those who live, work or worship in any of the following Vermont communities: Rutland, Addison, Bennington, Windsor or Windham counties. People who live, work or worship in Hooksett, New Hampshire are also eligible to become members. Membership requires a minimum $25 deposit into the Prime Share savings account.

Branches are located in Rutland, Fair Haven, Bennington and South Londonderry, VT and in Hooksett, NH. The credit union is federally insured by the NCUA (Charter # 24742). It has $157.4 million in assets and 23,516 members.
