Premier America Still Advertising 7% 7-Month 7K-Max CD in Houston.

Premier America is still advertising its 7-7-7 certificate special. I had posted on this last week after a reader reported seeing it in the Houston Chronicle. The ad showed up today at Houston Chronicle's online marketplace. The ad is available here. This special doesn't seem to be listed at the credit union's website.

The details that I reported last week are inline with the ad except the ad doesn't mention any direct deposit requirement. Here are the promotion details as listed in the ad:

• 7.00% APY 7-month
• $2,000 minimum deposit
• $7,000 maximum deposit
• must be a new member
• requires checking account
• only one per primary account/social security number
• not available for IRA or business accounts
• instructed to visit the Houston branch

When I called last week about this special, the CSR thought this was only available at their Houston branches.
