Hanmi Bank is offering a special 4.55% APY 6-month certificate of deposit. The minimum deposit is $10,000, and the maximum is $100,000. It has an advance pay feature in which the interest is paid at the beginning of the term.
Branches are located in several Califonia cities including Los Angeles, Irvine, San Diego, Rancho Cucamonga, San Francisco and Santa Clara. The bank has been FDIC insured since 1982 (Certificate # 24170). The has a 3 out of 5 star rating (sound) at Bankrate.com based on 9/30/07 data.
