4.58% 10-Month CD at a Georgia CU (Georgia's Own).

Georgia's Own Credit Union is offering a special 4.58% APY 10-month certificate. The minimum deposit is $2,000. The offer is available through April 15, 2008.

My last report on this credit union was in October 2007 when it was offering a special 5.75% 9-month CD.

Membership is open to residents of Cobb, Chatham, Cherokee, DeKalb, Fulton and Gwinnett County. Please refer to the credit union's membership page for the full details. Membership requires a minimum deposit of $5 into your regular savings account.

Branches are located in the Atlanta metro area and also in Augusta and Savannah, Georiga. The credit union is federally insured by the NCUA (Charter # 67390). It's a large credit union with $1.11 billion in assets and 112,459 members.
