4.00% 9-Month CD at a Georgia Bank (Alpha Bank & Trust)

Alpha Bank & Trust is offering a special 4.00% APY 9-month CD. The minimum deposit is $1,000. The same term is also available in an IRA with a yield of 4.05% APY. The special is listed in their rate table.
No out-of-state deposits are accepted. However, a reader informed me last year that you can open the CD by phone if you live in Georgia.
Last year the bank was offering many certificate specials with yields over 6%. My last post was in January when the 9-month CD special had a yield of 5.25%.
Branches are located in Alpharetta and Marietta, Georgia which are in the northern suburbs of Atlanta. The bank is FDIC insured (FDIC Certificate # 58241).

I bank at Flagstar bank which matches all Georgia CDs (including Alpha) with "PLUS.05%" matching.
