$100 Checking Account Bonus at a Dallas Bank (Century)

Century Bank is having a Memorial-Day promotion in which you can get a $100 gas card for opening a new checking account. The $100 gas card is only available on Memorial Day at their branches. There's a $77 gas card for other days. This special doesn't seem to be listed at the bank's website. It was advertised today in the Dallas Morning News. The ad is available online here.
Century Bank does offer a free checking account with no monthly service charges, and it pays ATM fees charged by other banks. The minimum initial deposit is $100.
In addition to checking account bonuses, Century Bank often has some nice CD promotions. The last one I reported on was in January when it was offering a 5% 12-month CD.
The bank has been FDIC insured since 1934 (Certificate # 3361).

Just opened an account and it was very easy. They issue your debit card and gift card on the spot, no waiting for them to arrive in mail. And they said I could close tomorrow and cash it out. I plan to keep the account, but just in case, if someone was interested..

I saw this in paper other day went down this morning even took my mother as she doesnt5 drive and she opened one too both got $100 visa card she also gets 3.00%on top of the free checking plus free everything including cashier checks,duplicate checks ect. could not believe there wasnt a line around the place after hearing about the $40 gitf card the gas station was giving out down near love field people wated 12 hours for it I was in and out in less than 20 min with 200 bucks at least it fills the car 3 times not like my pickup that would take it in under 2 have a good day BD Duck
