This is a good deal. I have also heard about 4% Max Reward Checking from The Buckhead Community Bank in Atlanta, Sandy Springs, Midtown, cobb and Alpharetta. they are nice and easy to switch to visitwww.upgradeyourbank.com and click on the MAx Reward Checking button.

Thanks. The Max Reward Checking looks like another good reward checking option in Georgia. The 4% apy is a little low, but the $50K cap is nice. I'll be posting on this soon.

As of 1/9/09, for new accounts the lower rate is now 2.50% APY up to $50K and 1.50% over $50K, now guaranteed thru 5/31/09. Note: look carefully at the rate page and examine tiers to see the APY downside, say June 1st (if no new deals or revisions are forthcoming).

Correct me, but except for online banking, each of the requirements (including ACH auto debit) is an OR situation.
