Omni American Bank is offering a 5.00% APY 5-year CD. The other long-term CDs with terms from 24 months to 59 months are also fairly competitive with a yield of 4% APY. The minimum deposit is $1,000. These are also available in an IRA CD.

A branch visit appears to be required. Branches are located in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Omni American Bank used to be a credit union. It changed into a bank on January 2006 at which time it became FDIC insured (FDIC Certificate # 58050).
