4.25% 7-Month CD at a Georgia Bank - and 5% Savings Account Promo (One Georgia)

One Georgia Banks is offering some attractive CD and savings account promotions. These include a 4.25% APY 7-month CD and a 3.75% APY 4-month CD. The minimum deposit is $5,000. The savings account has a yield of 5% APY on all balances up to $10,000 (2% for above). Both require new money and a checking account with direct deposit or online bill pay.

At the bottom of the rate table it states that they do not accept deposits outside of their market area. The bank is located in Atlanta, Georgia.

It's a fairly new bank that was established in 2006. It's a member FDIC (FDIC Certificate # 58238). The bank has a 3-star rating (performing) at Bankrate based on 3/31/08 data.
