6.00% 6-Month CD at an IA/WI/IL Credit Union - $5K Max (Dupaco Community).

Dupaco Community Credit Union is offering a special 6.00% APY 6-month term share certificate. The minimum deposit is $1,000, and the maximum deposit is $5,000 per household. An active checking account with direct deposit is required. It's available through July 11, 2008.

With a $5K deposit, you'll earn about $75 more than a 3% 6-month CD. Since the checking account is required, this is essentially a checking account bonus. The credit union also has a $60 bonus for opening a checking account with direct deposit and e-statements. This one is available through July. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem you can do both the CD and this $60 bonus. The small print states that it's not valid with other offers.
