4.15% 8-Month CD at a New Jersey CU (United Teletech Financial)

United Teletech Financial FCU is offering a special 4.15% APY 8-month CD. The minimum deposit is $5,000. An United or eUreka! checking account is required to qualify for the CD. Note, both of these checking accounts appear to required direct deposit to avoid monthly fees. This is also available as an IRA CD.

My last report of this credit union was in March when it was offering a 4.50% money market promotion.

Field of membership includes those who live, work, worship or attend school in Monmouth County, Ocean County and parts of central Middlesex County. Membership requires a minimum deposit of $5 into a share savings account. An online application is available.

The credit union is federally insured by the NCUA (Charter # 18195).
