4.25% 9-Month / 4.50% 24-Month CD at an Ohio Credit Union (Kemba)

Kemba Credit Union has some competitive certificate specials. One is a 4.25% APY 9-month certificate and the other is a 4.50% APY 24-month certificate. The minimum deposit is $5,000. These certificates are also available in an IRA.
The credit union also offers some competitive long-term standard certificates. A bump of 25 basis points is applied to Jumbo certificates with a minimum $100K deposit (excludes the specials). My last report on this credit union was in January when it was offering a 5.25% 60-month CD.
Membership is open to those who live, work, worship or attend school in any of the following Ohio counties: Clermont, Hamilton, Warren, Montgomery, Clinton, Brown, Greene, Highland, Preble or Butler. You can also be eligible via a long list of employers. Please refer to their Eligibility page for more details. Membership requires a $1 fee and a $5 minimum deposit in a share savings account.
Branches are located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The credit union is federally insured by the NCUA (Charter # 61810).
