5.05% 24-Month CD at First Community Bank in Ohio

First Community Bank is offering a special 5.05% APY 24-month CD. The minimum deposit is $5,000. The rate table also lists longer terms with this 5.05% APY and a bump-up feature for the 24-month CD.

These CDs are available to Central-Ohio residents only. In addition, the new account application requests that you call to confirm you are in their market area before sending the application. Branches are located in the Ohio cities of Columbus, Sedalia and Whitehall.

The bank has some fair financial ratings for soundness: 3.5 stars (good) at BauerFinancial and 3 stars (performing) at Bankrate.com. Both are based on 6/30/08 data. The bank has been FDIC insured since 1939 (FDIC Certificate # 17520).
