4.50% 12-Month Jumbo CD at Kemba Credit Union in Ohio

Kemba Credit Union has a competitive rate on its 12-month certificate. The yield is 4.25% APY for a minimum deposit of $500. Jumbo certificates receive an extra 25 basis points. This results in a yield of 4.50% APY. The minimum deposit for a Jumbo is $100,000. These are available for both IRA and share certificates.

My last report on this credit union was in August when it was offering a special 4.25% 9-month CD.

Membership is open to those who live, work, worship or attend school in any of the following Ohio counties: Clermont, Hamilton, Warren, Montgomery, Clinton, Brown, Greene, Highland, Preble or Butler. You can also be eligible via a long list of employers. Please refer to their Eligibility page for more details. Membership requires a $1 fee and a $5 minimum deposit in a share savings account.
