5.10% 60-Month CD at Apple Federal Credit Union - Easy Membership

Apple Federal Credit Union is offering a 5.10% APY 60-month certificate with a minimum deposit of $50,000. A lower yield of 5.00% APY is available for a $500 minimum deposit. The 5% APY is also availble for terms of 7 and 10 years. The rate tables have a date range of 10/29/2008 to 11/4/2008. These are also available as IRA certificates.

A reader has reported being told by the credit union that members of Northern Virginia Athletic Directors, Administrators, and Coaches Association (NVADACA) qualify for credit union membership. NVADACA is listed in the credit union's field of membership list. Membership into NVADACA is open to anyone. There is a $10 membership fee.
