Pinal County Federal Credit Union has some competitive certificate rates. The most competitive include a 3.97% APY 12-month CD and a 4.49% APY 60-month CD. Minimum deposit is $50,000. Lower rates are available for smaller deposits. These rates are listed in the credit union's rate table as of 1/13/2009.

Field of membership includes those who live, work, worship or attend school in Pinal County, Arizona. A $25 minimum balance in the share savings account is required for membership.

This credit union has offered some excellent CD deals in the past such as a special 7% 7-month CD with no cap back in July 2007.

Branches are located in Coolidge, Florence, Casa Grande and Apache Junction, Arizona.

Pinal County FCU has some strong ratings for soundness: 5 stars (superior) at BauerFinancial and 4 stars (sound) at Bankrate. Both ratings are based on 9/30/08 financial data. The credit union is federally insured by the NCUA (Charter # 9099 ).
