Update 10/15/09: The bank is no longer offering the MoneyMaker Checking account.
First National Bank of Olathe has a reward checking account called MoneyMaker Checking. The account offers the following features if certain monthly requirements are met:
The bank has been FDIC insured since 1934 (FDIC Certificate # 4744).
Update 12/08/09: Here is the reply I received from the bank concerning why they stopped offering the MoneyMaker Checking account:

- 3.59% APY on balances up to $25,000
- 1.32% APY on balances over $25,000 (assumes a $100K balance)
- 0.25% base rate if qualifications are not met
- 12 signature-based check card purchases
- one direct deposit or ACH auto debit
- receive e-statements
- access online banking
- $100 minimum initial deposit
- no minimum balance requirement
- no monthly fees
- free Bill Pay
- up to 3 foreign ATM transactions reimbursed per month

We are no longer offering the MoneyMaker Checking account. With rates dropping the way they are and the shape the economy is in we have decided to not offer this account at this time.

Correct me, but up to 3 ATM foreign fees are refunded even if requirements are NOT met?
