Baltimore County Savings Bank is offering a rewards checking account with the following rates and features if certain monthly requirements are met (as of 12/05/2011):

11/04/10: 3.00% APY up to $25K
06/15/09: 4.00% APY up to $25K; 1.00% over; 0.10% base

Ain't gonna happen nomore. The rate dropped to 2.7%, and they are VERY tough on HOW you access your account. You have to click on the buttons EXACTLY the way they tell you or you don't get the 2.7%. :-(
Maybe they are in big trouble and can't afford to payout the interest. I hope not, but nonetheless I am pulling out my excess money and keeping a minimum in my account at their bank.
