3.00% 30-Month CD & 2.50% 18-Month CD at Leominster Credit Union in MA - Local Only

Leominster Credit Union continues to offer very competitive mid-term CD and IRA CD rates. Below is a list of these rates based on the credit union's rate table as of 10/06/09.
This credit union has a history of competitive CD rates. My last post on this credit union was in early August when it was offering a 2% 7-month CD. The credit union also offers a reward checking account that currently pays 4.01% APY on balances up to $25,000 (see post).
Membership is open to those who live, work, or have business in Worcester, Middlesex, Norfolk, Hampden, Franklin, or Hampshire Counties in Massachusetts. Refer to the credit union's Membership Eligibility Page for the full details. Membership requires maintaining a minimum $25 in a deposit account.
Branches are located in the cities of Leominster, Worcester, Clinton, Holden and Sterling.
The credit union has some decent ratings for soundness: 4 stars (excellent) at BauerFinancial (based on 6/30/09 data) and 3 stars (performing) at Bankrate.com (based on 3/31/09 data). The credit union is federally insured by the NCUA (Charter # 66699).
