Generations Federal Credit Union is offering a special 18-month certificate with a 2.35% APY for a $1,000 minimum and a 2.50% APY for a $100,000 minimum. Maximum deposit is $250,000 per qualified account holder. It's also available in an IRA. This deal is listed at the credit union's special offers page as of 4/13/2010.

Membership is open to those who live, work, attend school, worship or volunteer in Bexar County, Texas. Membership requires a minimum balance of $5 in the share savings account. Please refer to the credit union's membership page for more details.
