Last week I announced our new Facebook and Twitter page. To help get the word out on these, we're hosting a sweepstakes in which you can win an Apple iPad.

The sweepstakes begins today (10/18/2010) and will run until 11:59 PM ET on 11/18/2010.

How to Enter

There are two easy ways to enter, via Facebook or Twitter. You may enter once per method, for a total of two entries per person. On November 19th, we will pick one winner from the eligible entries to receive the new iPad. You must remain a Facebook fan or Twitter follower through the end of November 19th in order to remain eligible.

Facebook - To enter via Facebook, visit www.facebook.com/DepositAccounts and fan our Facebook page. Then post a comment on our wall mentioning what you like most about the site.

Twitter - Follow @depositaccounts and post a status update mentioning what you love about depositaccounts. Be sure to use @depositaccounts in your tweet.

If you already have become a fan of DepositAccounts at Facebook or if you are already following us at Twitter, all you have to do is the Facebook or Twitter comment.

Official Rules

Please refer to our iPad contest page for more details and for the official rules.

Our Last Sweepstakes

In our last sweepstakes that ended in July, there were three winners who won a total of $400.

If you are not a Facebook or Twitter user and if you don't want to join those sites, there is another way to participate in this promotion. Please refer to the "How to Enter" section of the official rules in our iPad contest page

Tweeted. Was long due anyways, since I always liked the site but the sweepstakes provide an incentive to actually tweet. Wish me luck :)

I guess by "two easy ways," you meant two difficult and one really time consuming one.

Standard fare here at the new "blog."

Completing Facebook task - three clicks (click through to FB, click Like, Submit comment).

Completing Twitter task - four clicks (click through to Twitter, click Follow, click Home, tweet comment).

Yep - super difficult. :)

Facebook - easy, not difficult.

Twitter - not a member and don't wish to join, but wouldn't be difficult.

Postcard - quick and easy: write your name and address, write the address you're sending it to, add a stamp and drop in any mailbox (and you have a month to "find" one) - how would this be "really time consuming"?  It is cheaper than a lottery ticket and you have a much better chance to win.

Has anyone joined Facebook recently without giving away their personal information?
