Top CD Rates at SPCO Credit Union in Houston - Local Only

SPCO Credit Union has some very competitive long-term CD rates. The best one is a 3.05% APY 5-year CD with a $50,000 minimum deposit. For a $1,000 minimum, it has a 2.87% APY. Some of the other competitive ones for a $50K minimum include a 2.66% APY 4-year CD and a 2.15% APY 3-year CD. These rates are listed in the credit union's share rates page as of 9/16/2011.

I haven't posted on this credit union in the past due to its very narrow field of membership. However, things have changed for the better. The credit union recently expanded its field of membership to include everyone who lives, works, or worships within 10 miles of both of the credit union's Houston offices.
