The ad says this is the last triple digit day this century.  We have to wait 88 years (01/01/01 in the 22nd century) for the next one,  Maybe by then rates will be worth something again...

Another positive aspect of this deal is the maturity day.  With leap day now in the rear view mirror, and given this deal goes down on a Wednesday for a one year CD, the day of maturity should be a Thursday.  Thursday is a usable, workable, day for CD maturity.  It's a good deal regardless.  This just makes it better.
