Largest Credit Unions Based On The Number Of Branches

You might think the largest credit unions based on assets would also have the most branches, but that's not always the case. This Credit Union Times article lists the 11 largest credit unions based on the number of branches, and two large credit unions that are not on the list are PenFed and Alliant. Maybe that's one reason they have been able to offer better rates. Based on asset size, PenFed is #3 and Alliant is #6.

My top-rated credit union is the one that provides me with the highest and most sustaining RCA interest rate:-)

The other stuff don't mean much to me (quote from RB):D

I too am a blockader for profit - and profit alone :D. My favorite credit unions (and banks too for that matter) can change overnight, depending on their RCA rates. I may leave reluctantly (if for example I have had great customer service) but don't hesitate to move on for a better deal.
