Discover Offering Some Credit Card Customers Its Premium Savings Account

Many readers were able to get a Discover Premium Savings Account when their E*TRADE savings accounts were moved over to Discover back in 2010. Discover Bank pays a little higher interest rate on the Premium Savings Account as compared to the standard version (currently 0.90% vs 0.80%).

A reader just forwarded me an email he received from Discover Bank offering him the Premium Savings Account if he opened the savings account at Discover Bank. He has a Discover credit card. So if you have a Discover credit card and had considered opening the Discover savings account, keep an eye out for an email offer.
