New-Branch 6-Month CD Special At Central Florida Branch Of BankUnited

BankUnited isn't listing this CD special on its website, but a reader emailed me news about it. I just called for additional details. It's only available at the bank's new branch in Lake Mary Florida. BankUnited has just started a presence in Central Florida. There's also a new branch in Casselberry, but I haven't checked with them about new-branch specials.

• 1.05% APY 6-month CD
• minimum deposit: $25,000
• No maximum deposit
• No checking requirement
• new-branch special at:  4406 W. Lake Mary Blvd Lake Mary, FL 32746 (phone: 407-548-3660)
• Available as of 8/27/2012. CSR wasn't sure when it may end
• Branch visit required. CSR said they would accept non-locals who come into the branch.
