Fed Dissenter Cites Inflation, Interest Rates

The sole dissenter in the Federal Reserve’s move to a third round of bond purchases [Jeffrey Lacker, president of the Richmond Fed] explained the reasoning behind his nay vote on Saturday, saying he fears that it could lead to higher inflation and interest rates.

It should be noted that Lacker is the only dissenter on the FOMC who's a voting member.
