Kasasa Cash (reward checking):
- 1.50% APY up to $50K [was 2.00%]
- 0.25% APY over $50K [was 0.50%]
- 0.10% APY on entire balance if requirements are not met [no change]
Kasasa Saver (reward savings):
- 0.75% APY up to $50K [was 1.00% up to $50K]
- 0.25% APY over $50K [was 0.50%]
- 0.05% APY on entire balance if requirements are not met [no change]
The Kasasa Cash account APY had been at 2% since September 2010.
Note, BankFirst Financial Services is one of the few banks that offers the reward checking and savings account nationwide. Also, it's the only nationwide reward checking account that still has a $50K balance cap. I had thought this reward checking account might be under pressure for a rate or balance cap cut due to these factors.
