They really ought to mix things upwhen they write their own reviews. Why are the only positive reviews a) from folks who lwant to talk how theyve been with the bank since they were kids b) babble about how "seamless" on-line bankins is and c) think we care that their tellers recognize some kid by name.

Clearly one person writing multiple reviews. What a job description that one must have.

I can assure you Service Credit Union does not post reviews of itself. This is the Service Credit Union account for Deposit Accounts.com.

Many of the negative reviews on this thread are mentioned about San Diego. Service Credit Union is based in Portsmouth, NH and does not do indirect lending in San Diego. There is a Security Service Credit Union there, and there might be some confusion. We personally investigate any feedback left for us on this site and I try to reach out personally via DM, however I have not received responses so I can't do much to help out that member or potential member.

If there is a problem, feel free to DM me directly. I am happy to assist as best as I can.

Even the positive reviews here address products or services or fees that we have that are incorrect. For example the one positive says we charge $2.00 for a foreign ATM. Our standard fee is $1.50; further we refund up to $20 a month of fees to members that have direct deposit and keep a positive balance in their accounts. We also refund up to $20 worth of ISA fees -- these are the foreign intechange fees that VISA/Mastercard charge.
